A large percentage of the urban population in Indian cities live in self-made settlements due to a lack of state presence, which should be offering adequate housing to vulnerable populations. Vikreta is a lightweight mobile infrastructure that could address immediately the necessities of the transit camp. It can be customized to address a variety of issues like the creation of vendor carts for small streets, toilets, and all the things that are not available in such transit settlements.
How to build Vikreta?
The mechanism development has been kept to the simplest for ease of use by a wide range of community members. The design serves multi-users, albeit in the instant case the cart has been developed to serve as a means of vegetable and fruit vending. The laari is a complementary asset for the transit camp with an advanced touch increasing opportunities for livelihood.
This ideation is a laari vending project essentially to be used for short hauls and carriage of multiple types of vending stalls. From carrying unwieldy weights ranging from gas cylinders to fruit storage crates, the design developed an accommodating need for every nature of mobile vending laari. A pragmatic upgrade of a -at-wheeled street carts, albeit keeping the multipurpose requirements into consideration.
